giantshadows: What sort of state would America be in if Bush and Obama hadn’t bailed out the banks or helped the auto industry that employes multi thousands of people. You complain and complain but don’t understand what a catastraphe the USA would be in right now without the support of the government!

first we would not have tripled our deficit, we wouldnt owe billions to china and the interest and payback on those loans would not be 23 trillion dollars, but hey we have been broke for years anyway so what is a few more trillion as long as the govt helps everybody.Do you know the govt works for the people? Not we give them 40% of what we earn and they spend it on foreign wars and protecting iraq borders & not our own.So you like marxist socialism?it where you are headed-

Have you checked how much the President makes? Its like jack shit. Less than most people in any affluent area with any education anyway.

What to you call inflation?Inflation is an undedclared tax and it hurts the poor and middle class.Business, not “Corporations, will have to raise prices and won’t be able to pay higher wages.Obama has stated clearly that he would double Energy. He will sign the Cap and Trade treaty, that treaty will punish carbon producers. This is the way he and his supporters (most uniting participants) will spread the wealth.Plain spoke guy explains it:/watch?v=uw5XLdnWMpo&feature=s ub

I am not sure where inflation came into this discussion. Though it does affect workers wages, it has a lot to do with the government spending money it doesn’t have on blowing people up on the other side of the world. And yes we do need to de-incentivize the current problem we have with producing carbon. In the same way we de-incetivize pumping toxic waste into the ocean.

  7. chewbaca1989 says:

Correct, 100% inflation does not affect working wages, the higher prices are a result of inflation.Without the power to counterfeit, inflation, the government would be constrained. It would be impossible to wage war like we do today. The government would have to tax you directly, not indirectly tax via inflation. Both parties, I see no distinction between them by the way, use this immoral power to kick the can down the road. Obama has kicked the biggest can ever.
